To help investment in FineGolf’s growth we are moving to subscription.

FineGolf has evolved its business model over the last fourteen years. Initially the focus was on taking accommodation advertising alongside course reviews and then we moved to greenkeeping company advertising.

We allowed certain companies with a “conservation” angle to leverage their association with the FineGolf brand.

We are enormously grateful for the support we have received and thank Baroness mowers, Symbio soil biology, DLF Johnsons seeds, Aquatrols/Farmura water management, Campey turfcare and Barenbrug seeds, who have all taken advertising and supported the FineGolf Running-golf days.

It is now appropriate to move to a subscription model and stop taking advertising with its possible connotion that FineGolf might be compromising its integrity and independence.

The separation from commercial vested interests is vital when discussing golfers education about conservation greenkeeping and the most enjoyable firm turf to play on and where to find it.

We want FineGolf to continue to be a successful, broadly based campaign for ‘Running-Golf’ in contrast to ‘Target-Golf’ alongside promotion of the traditional values of golf.

We hope that as many people as possible can continue to access the in-depth information on the website to enhance their enjoyment of golf.

An annual fee of only £10 gives a low cost for a high value resource.

We have tried to make it simple for people to sign-up, while difficult for ‘bot’ computers to breach security.

Do call me on 07803 434283 if you have any problems.

Best wishes for your enjoyment of ‘running-golf’.
